New Silent Hill Game: The Short Message in Development
It was a few months ago when fans were going crazy over supposedly leaked concept art speculating that the upcoming survival horror title was in the works by KONAMI. It was stated prior that KONAMI is still working on several new installments for the Silent Hill franchise but these supposed rumors didn’t entail anything notable for the better part. But it appears that a new iteration of the Silent Hill series might indeed be in the works. Over in Korea, The Game Rating and Administration Committee has set the rating for an unannounced title that goes by the name “Silent Hill: The Short Message”. No platforms have yet been specified but we can hope for a PC and console release with exclusivity thrown out the door. It was Gematsu that stated that the publisher for the game is listed as which is a publishing company that regularly lists games for Konami, especially in Korea. Consider the example of Konami’s free-to-play soccer title, eFootball 2023 which was also published by UNIANA. The rating for the upcoming survival horror title is possibly related to the recent string of leaks that occurred within the past few months. And hopefully, the game will come out sometime in the future slated for a 2024 or 2025 release date. But take this speculation with a grain of salt. It’s pretty evident from the above information that Konami is indeed developing a Silent Hill title with many new Silent Hill games slated for future releases. So, what are your views on the upcoming Silent Hill: The Short Message? When will it release? We hope to see another installment of the franchise soon enough due to the dry spell of releases from the franchise, but we’d like to know your views as well in the comments below.
