Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted in March that the new A16 Bionic technology would only be available in the iPhone 14 Pro variants. The A15 Bionic chip from Apple will continue to power the basic iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max. According to ShrimpApplePro, the most recent indications point to the forthcoming A15 Bionic processor having improved performance over the iPhone 13 models. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max reportedly have the highest quality OLED materials available from Apple supplier Samsung. The materials used in the ordinary versions, however, will be of inferior quality. The two models will now have a quality difference between them. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will include high-quality pixels in addition to ProMotion technology. The Elec reports the information, indicating that the gap between the two models is growing. Along with upgraded camera technology, the iPhone 14 Pro will also have a stainless steel exterior. With the planned changes, it appears like Apple is eager to defend the ‘Pro‘ label. Apple reportedly intends to discontinue the iPhone “small” in favor of the larger iPhone 14 Max, which will measure 6.7 inches. With two models having a 6.1-inch display and two versions sporting a 6.7-inch display, this will simplify the company’s display sizes. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models are anticipated to be released by Apple next month with several significant upgrades.
