Host Geoff Keighley revealed at The Game Awards that a new Bayonetta spin-off would be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will go live on the Switch eShop after the show, and the game will release on the console on March 17, 2023. Unlike the main series, which focuses on action, Origins is primarily a puzzle game. The plot centres on a young Bayonetta, who was given the name Cereza at birth. In order to save her mom, Rosa, she and her first demon partner, Cheshire, must travel through a forest. This is a developing story, stay tuned for more.
