— Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) November 1, 2022 While there were a lot of fake bans, cheaters and bugs upon launch, still most of the feedback was positive, making it the biggest Call of Duty game. But that’s not all for Call of Duty fans this year, Warzone 2.0 will also be released on 16th November, which is less than two weeks away, and the anticipation has been building up even more after the release of MW2. And how can we forget about Warzone 2.0’s DMZ, aka Deployment Zone mode, which is apparently Activision’s version of Escape from Tarkov, according to all the leaks and rumors we have seen about the mode. However, it looks like the wait is over. And Fans will learn about DMZ and Warzone 2.0 soon as Call of Duty content creator @ModernWarzone revealed through Twitter that Infinity Ward is organizing another in-person event to stream the first official look at DMZ mode and some more stuff related to Warzone 2.0.
— ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) November 6, 2022 They weren’t invited to the event as the scale of the event is much smaller than Call of Duty Next, according to them. So they are not bound by any NDA to speak about this. @ModernWarzone also said; Well, that’s some exciting news for the Call of Duty fans looking forward to the next iteration of COD’s Battle Royal game and the highly anticipated DMZ mode that has been in the news for a long time now. A complete list of DMZ missions was also leaked in September, as reported by Insider Gaming and by looking at it, it will be safe to say that Activision is going big with this new mode. It is also reported that the DMZ mode will be playable on Warzone 2.0’s Al Mazrah map and could feature up to 400 AI bots. And it will be a bit different than Warzone’s battle royal style, where you land with a pistol only in hand, whereas in DMZ, you will be deployed with the following in hand;
Primary WeaponSecondary Weapon1 Tactical1 Lethal1 Field Update1 Killstreak
